NORTH X LOMOGRAPHY

Behind the scenes with North & Lomography.

Lomography got in touch a few months back asking if I wanted to work together on a collaboration or run a competition to gift a reader a Lomo camera. I thought we could do both!

It just so happened that I was halfway through shooting an interview with Michael Tarry and he was heading back over from Barcelona to finish it up soon. I pitched the idea of a 'behind the scenes' article using a Lomography camera and they were into it.

When shooting photos for an interview there's a lot of down time: Travelling, warming up, hanging about, etc. Most of this doesn't get documented so I wanted to give you a little look behind the scenes.

The LomoApparat 21mm wide angle camera looked different from what I'd usually use so thought it would be fun to use that. It's a super easy to use out of the box point and shoot that comes with a bunch of experimental effect filters.

Have look at what we got up too along with Kieron Forbes and George Horler from Garden Skateboards, then check the full Lomography range HERE.
